I have been working in recruitment for 25 years, both in agency and as an internal Talent Partner.
A crucial part of my role has always been to manage candidates' expectations surrounding the interview process, giving them as much information as I could about the process. In my agency career, I always ensured my candidates were fully prepared for interview by practising some mock interview questions and giving them the tools to remain calm under pressure.
I have substantial experience in interviewing candidates from a wide variety of backgrounds and industries from apprentices and graduates to management professionals, and have conducted interviews across a wide variety of platforms; telephone, video and face to face. I've worked with top universities who are both red brick and Russell Group, presenting CV and interview skills sessions to their students, as well as running apprentice and graduate assessment days.
I specialise in helping people overcome their anxieties and give them the confidence to go into any interview situation knowing what to expect and how to handle the toughest competency and behavioural interview questions. I can help you to understand what makes a successful interview; how to interpret questions correctly and structure answers effectively - to stand out from the crowd!
